Proactiv For Rosacea Treatment

I wanted to share my experience with using Proactive solution for treatment of Rosacia.  I have  had a mild case of rosacea for the past three years I had some redness of the cheeks and forehead and papules and pustules which resemble acne.  I had no other symptoms and never had acne as a teenager.  I was prescribed MetroCream by my MetroCream by my dermatologist but it had no effect in controlling my symptoms.  I started using proactiv solution renewing cleanser about three weeks ago.  The results have been amazing as of today my face is completely clear of  the papules and pustules for the first time in years the redness is also greatly reduced.  The Proactiv does have some abrasive grit which makes the skin irritated right after application but within one hour the redness is gone.  I recommend that anyone wanting to try proactiv should consult with their dermatologist first.   It is my understanding that every case of rosacea is different and every person has triggering factors so this treatment may not work for everyone.
